getting to paradise

After 12 hours and 6400 miles, I broke my fast -who wants to eat airline food-
with chicken curry and an iced Americano delivered by this lovely woman who explained that 'homee' meant 'you know, sort of delicious'.
It's also the only option at 5:30am in the Taipai transfers terminal unless you favor chocolate or vending machine drinks.

Of course the other most welcome sight after deboarding is the loo.

  2. Yeh--skip to my loo isn't just a nursery rhyme.

  3. I was in that airport when I went to Thailand and nothing was open when I was there. I would have gone to homee. We may be slow to respond because I couldn't figure out how to have things sent to our regular email account. We are way behind technologically speaking. Glad you survived your flight and are ensconced in a villa. R

Hey, did the school kids speak English? What did their school look like? Once a teacher, always....

Be sure to post a photo of your sarongs. Sounds like this trip is full of adventure already.
